Consumers are Beating a Path to Your Door

By all early indications, Holiday Shopping is off to a great start with some forecasts showing a 7% boost in sales over last year.  Add to this the projected 15%in online sales and you have to ask yourself; Self, have I prepared a welcome mat for these customers or bricked-up the door?

Local search on a multitude of devices and platforms is enabling consumers to find businesses, find specific products and their availability, purchase and pick-up.  The item underpinning all this activity and allowing consumers to connect with business; NAP – Name, Address & Phone Number.  Simple as this fact is, we still see a lot of businesses, both local and national brands  getting this part of the media mix wrong.

Search for your business listing, can you be found easily? Now search for your business category or some specific keywords with several of the city town names surrounding your location. if you are in the top 10, good going.  If not, read the above article and get started on improving your position.
